Hi!

My name is Soumya Gupta, and I am a Senior studying Journalism at the University of Washington. As an international student from Bangalore, India, I have a passion of writing about culture and representation. I'm always on the lookout for intriguiging stories that celebrate communities and new ideas. I aspire to be a reporter, and aim to dedicate my time working with communities. 

When I'm not at school or at my desk writing, I like to paint and take walks at lakes. I'm a professional classical dancer, and I also love playing badminton.
